Adjust to Diversity

Adjust to Diversity takes account of the influence of globalization and the increasing heterogeneity which accompanies it.

  • Diversity includes heterogeneity concerning:
    • Age
    • Gender
    • Cultural and/or ethnic background
    • Abilities and disabilities, etc.

This can characterize a group of people. Adjust to Diversity refers to principles of teaching/facilitating with the goal to turn heterogeneity from challenge to chance. The principle of differentiation is suitable to cope with all kind of different people in diverse settings. Differentiation means any action that has to be taken supporting the participants’ individual progress regardless of their differing/diverse attributes.
